Poetry Through Dentistry

There is considerable pain in each. Take for instance a stellar stanza from Gilbert and Sullivan’s Comic Opera the Mikado:

His teeth, I’ve enacted,
Shall all be extracted
By terrified amateurs.

Both Poetry and Dentistry should be a labor of love. But until then,

with bloody gums and churlish tounges,
