Pretty obsessed with these recent Lana Del Ray songs. Very excited for the release of her new single “Video Games” b/w “Blue Jeans” out 10/9. The pre-order (will be) available here. Listen/watch videos of “Video Games” and “Blue Jeans” below. Both are stellar tracks. Looking forward to a full length in the future. She recently had an interview in Pitchfork’s “Rising” series. Read it after the jump.

“The New HTRK album revolves around themes of submission, dysphoria, sentimentality, tech-noir and corporate life”
– HTRK website
Been listening to HTRK‘s new LP “Work (work, work).” It’s a great listen for late nights or early mornings. Any fans of How to Dress Well, Burial, Fever Ray or Holy Other will feel right at home. Ghostly International is streaming the album via Soundcloud (see below). I found the sleeve and vinyl design striking and simple. An interview with the band with The Quietus is after the jump. Enjoy and sweet dreams.

Spent a little time in San Antonio this weekend. I wanted to share some photos that I captured via Instagram. I think I spotted a pipe that was bombed by Knitta Please. Always exciting.
Really excited to see Fleet Foxes, Arcade Fire and Broken Social Scene in a few weeks for ACL! I’ve seen all of these bands perform before and they all have tremendous stage presence.
